Guide · STR turnovers
Can Acuity sync with Airbnb calendars?
Short answer: not directly. Acuity's sync works with Google, iCloud and Outlook calendars. It can't read an Airbnb or Vrbo iCal link to create turnover cleans (Acuity help).
What Acuity can do
- Two-way sync with Google, iCloud and Outlook (source).
- All-day and "free" events on a synced calendar don't block time in Acuity (Acuity help). So if you subscribe Google Calendar to an Airbnb feed, those checkouts won't block your Acuity availability on their own.
- Acuity's separate Airbnb connection is a marketplace listing for eligible businesses. It isn't a host-calendar import (Acuity help).
Workarounds
- Zapier: Acuity's Zapier actions include "Add Blocked Off Time" (Zapier help), so a zap can block time from a calendar event. Zapier pricing applies; test it with one property first.
- A turnover app for STR work, with Acuity for everything else. Apps like BowReady: Free for 2 properties; Starter $6.99/mo (3-5); Growth $14.99 (6-15); Pro $24.99 (16-35); +$0.60/property over 35 or TidyStay: Free for 1 property; $7/property/mo; annual saves 17% ($5.83/mo per OwnerRez) read the iCal feeds and create the cleans.
- Manual: for a couple of properties, a daily check of each host's calendar plus a text can be enough.

FAQ
Does Acuity Scheduling sync with Airbnb?
Not as a calendar import. Acuity syncs with Google, iCloud and Outlook and cannot read Airbnb or Vrbo iCal feeds directly, per its help center.
Why don't Airbnb events block my Acuity availability?
Acuity says all-day and "free" events on a synced calendar do not block time, and Airbnb reservations usually come through as all-day events.
How do turnover cleaners connect Airbnb calendars to scheduling?
Use a turnover app that reads iCal feeds (for example BowReady, TidyStay, Turno), or a Zapier zap that adds blocked-off time in Acuity.
