Best pool service software

Pool service software has to do four jobs: run weekly routes, record water chemistry at every visit, send owners a service report, and bill flat-rate service plus chemicals and repairs. Here are the tools in our directory that market to pool companies, grouped by type, with how each one charges. Alphabetical within each group, not ranked.

Built for pool service

As recorded from their own sites: Skimmer lists a route builder, service reports and a customer portal, with quotes, route optimization and a dosing calculator on its higher plan, and an AI Phone add-on. Pool Brain lists one-click route optimization and dosing calculated from technician readings. Pool Office Manager lists chemistry per visit with LSI and dosing suggestions, inventory and QuickBooks sync as an add-on. Pooltrackr started with water testing and adds field service jobs on its Field plan; it is an Australian vendor and its page does not label the currency.

Recurring route platforms that market to pool companies

GorillaDesk has a pool service page that mentions chemical use records and pool maintenance checklists. ProValet describes itself as built for recurring pool and spa routes and offers a free branded homeowner app.

General field service software with pool pages

These cover quotes, scheduling, invoicing and payments for many trades, and each has a pool service page on its own site. Check whether they record water chemistry the way you need before switching from a pool-specific tool.

Watch out for

  • Add-ons such as texting, QuickBooks sync, marketing and AI phone answering are often priced separately.
  • Some prices load by script on the vendor's page. Pool Brain's base fee did not load for us, so we list only its per-technician price as confirmed.
  • Promotions change often. Confirm the current price on the vendor's page.

GorillaDesk and ProValet focus on recurring routes. Jobber, Housecall Pro, QuoteIQ, ServiceM8 and Service Fusion are general field service tools with pool pages.

How much does pool service software cost?

As recorded in our directory on 2026-10-19: Skimmer is $1 per serviced location per month ($49 minimum) or $2 ($98 minimum) on its higher plan; Pool Office Manager is $125/mo plus $25 per extra user; Pool Brain is $65/mo per technician plus a base fee; ProValet is $149/mo including one technician; GorillaDesk starts at $49/mo per route. Confirm on vendor pages.

Which pool software tracks water chemistry?

Skimmer (dosing calculator on Scaling Up), Pool Brain (dosing from readings), Pool Office Manager (chemistry per visit with LSI and dosing suggestions) and Pooltrackr (water testing with a chemical calculator) list it on their own sites. GorillaDesk lists chemical use records.

Is Jobber or Housecall Pro good for pool service?

Both have pool service pages and handle quotes, scheduling, invoicing and payments. If per-visit chemistry readings and dosing matter to you, compare them closely with the pool-specific tools first.
